The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking a dedicated and caring Nurse Aide to join our nursing staff at the Southwestern Veterans’ Center.
In this role, you will help us continue to provide our residents with the care and support to live an active and healthy life.

In this position, you will provide non-professional nursing care to the residents at Southwestern Veterans’ Center on an as needed basis.
This will involve participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans and the development of individualized interventions and methods.
You will assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and getting in and out of bed.
Some of your duties will include applying safety devices and medications, distributing meals and water, and transporting residents.
As an aide, you will record all care and services performed for residents, as well as maintaining positive working relationships with your fellow staff members.
Additionally, you will maintain and improve your skills by attending training programs.
