This Nurse Aide position at the Southeastern Veterans' Center involves providing daily personal care, emotional support, and comfort to elderly veterans and their families in a long-term care facility.
Duties include helping with meals, monitoring vital signs, ensuring safety, and participating in team meetings to improve residents' quality of life.

As a Nurse Aide at the Southeastern Veterans' Center, you will be the heart of daily life for our residents, delivering essential personal care, offering emotional support, and ensuring comfort through every routine.
You will foster independence and joy, becoming a trusted presence who truly elevates their daily experience and quality of life.
Some of your duties will include distributing meal trays, applying safety devices, and reporting data such as vital signs.
Others tasks involve transporting and escorting residents to outside appointments as necessary.
Additionally, you will maintain a safe environment for residents and strictly follow infection control procedures and universal health care precautions.
Furthermore, you will have an opportunity to actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment plans.
