This job involves guiding students through their college journey at a community college, from initial application to graduation, by offering personalized advice on academics, careers, finances, and personal challenges.
The role focuses on supporting at-risk and first-generation students through proactive outreach, early interventions, and collaboration with faculty and support services.

Job Purpose:
With all aspects of Guided Pathways, and as part of the College's Title III Pathways to the Future 5-year grant project, the Navigator will provide intrusive advising, onboarding, orientation, coaching, career assessment and guidance, selecting pathways, financial literacy coaching and early alert strategies to students from application to graduation
Job Duties:
Manage early alert program for caseload using real time data to proactively improve student success through a system of connected and coordinated network of support for students.
Provide first level targeted interventions and strategic care to students beginning in the first year through graduation.
Manage communication between faculty and other student support services including but not limited to tutoring, personal counseling and disability services.
Bachelor's degree in education, communication or pathways specific area; 1 year of experience in student services, preferably in student advising in a community college setting.
