You will serve as a MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR (HAZARDOUS MATERIAL DISPOSER) in the Environmental Compliance Division, Environmental Affairs Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION, NEW RIVER.

  • You will operate oil collection trucks and associated pumps, tanks, controls and safety devices, and forklifts.
  • You will operate stationary and portable pumps and skimming equipment.
  • You will operate metering and measuring devices and sampling and testing equipment.
  • You will operate vehicles, including stake bed trucks, vacuum and tractor trailer trucks.
  • You will perform weekly inspections on the used oil collection points.
  • You will assist in the packaging, labeling, and maintenance of containers of waste stored in the facility.
  • You will assist in maintain general housekeeping standards for the facility
  • You will assist in containment and clean-up of hazardous substance spills.
