About the Position: Serves as the Battalion Mission Support Specialist, under the general supervision of the BN Executive Director, providing administrative support to the Battalion Commander and staff.

Performs a wide variety of management and administrative services for the Battalion Commander essential to the operations of the geographically dispersed Battalion. Located in San Diego, CA.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Specialized Experience for GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes: advising management on assigned administrative matters; coordinating, monitoring, and performing administrative projects for an organization such as budget, personnel, travel, training, etc.; Lead personnel policy and practices for an organization; Advise leadership on available courses of action for resolving issues; preparing narrative and data reports, represents the organization at meetings and/or conferences.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
