As a MISSION SUPPORT ASSISTANT, you will maintain tracking systems, procure routine equipment and services, and maintain office files and records.

The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/30/2026.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service.

The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 01/30/2026. The date your application is last submitted will be used to determine whether you meet the cut-off criteria.

GS-05: You qualify at the GS-05 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in the federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Using computer software such as spreadsheets, databases, or word processing; Routing office support materials to the appropriate person or location; Interacting with customers; Collecting or distributing information related to workflow and office procedures.

OR You may substitute successful completion of 4 years above high school for the experience required at the GS-05 grade level.

This education must have been obtained from an accredited college or university. One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester or 45 quarter hours.

GS-06: You qualify at the GS-06 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Reviewing forms or other documents for completeness; Compiling or updating data on spreadsheets; Maintaining office files, records, or databases; Interacting with customers to respond to inquiries or provide information.

GS-07: You qualify at the GS-07 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-06 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have experience performing the following duties: Maintaining files or records and resolving discrepancies; Partnering with managers or employees to resolve clerical challenges; Using various systems to prepare reports; Recommending solutions to administrative problems.
