Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of supervisors and workers in miscellaneous shops within the Navy's supply and logistics department, focusing on planning, organizing, and overseeing daily and long-term tasks to meet production goals.
It requires strong leadership to manage personnel, resources, and operations while ensuring quality and efficiency.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on experience in trade or labor supervision, particularly in a military or industrial setting, who thrives in coordinating complex workflows.
You will serve as a MISCELLANEOUS SHOPS SUPERVISOR II in the Supply and Logistics Department, Code 500 of PSNS and IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
