This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Oconee County Clinic, 115 Carter Park Drive, Seneca, SC 29678.
As a Mental Health Professional I, under general supervision, provide outpatient therapy to patients of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center.
Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I:
Provide counseling services in an office setting with adults experiencing difficulties with family, social, or other life crisis and mental disorders.
Provide intake assessment and crisis management services to patients at the Oconee Mental Health Clinic.
Maintain chart work in accordance with QA Standards.
Participate in treatment team meetings, assisting in formulation and development of patients’ treatment plans and needed programs.
In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care.
This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
