This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health, Anderson County School Mental Health Program/District 5 and the Anderson County Clinic, 1 Linwa Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621.
As a Mental Health Professional I, under general supervision, perform case management and counseling services to children, adolescents, and their families (CAF) at a designated school setting for the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center (AOP-MHC.)
Responsibilities for the Mental Health Professional I:
Provide mental health treatment case management and counseling service to the CAF population at designated school settings. Provide these services to other populations, as assigned, across settings.
Must maintain a valid South Carolina Driver’s License. Must maintain compliance with the Center productivity standard.
In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Office of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care.
This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
