Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, Salem, Virginia.
We potentially have 3 vacant positions 1 Night shift 330p - 12am every other weekend rotating holidays 2 day shift 730a - 4pm every other weekend rotating holidays Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. *Education.
High school diploma, General Education Development equivalency certificate, or proficiency certificate from a State or territorial-level Board or Department of Education. *Experience.
No experience required at the GS-3 level. Licensure/Certification/Registration. None English Language Proficiency.
Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English in accordance with 38 U.S.C. § 7403(f).
Grade Determinations: GS-5 Experience: One year of creditable experience equivalent to the next lower grade. OR Education. Two years of education above high school.

The full performance level of this vacancy is 05. The actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is in the range of 05 to 05. Physical Requirements: Major Duties:
