We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Medical Records Technician to join our staff at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Coal Township.
By maintaining medical records of the inmates housed at the institution, you will help us continue to provide excellent care and monitoring of the population.

In this position, you will maintain the medical records for SCI Coal Township.
Your work will involve organizing and monitoring the health record system, coding the records with the appropriate actions, and ensuring records are maintained according to policies and regulations.
You will file and issue health care records, as well as prepare and transfer records for inmates being paroled or transferred.
Some of your duties will also include presenting medical records in court cases and reviewing records for completeness and accuracy.
Additionally, you will prepare periodic statistical reports and records for management review.
