Salary: $3,665 - $4,882.00 Monthly. The salary does not include a 5% premium for employees working in King County, or an on-site 24/7 facility 5% premium.
The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) Medical team at Echo Glen Children’s Center is looking for a Medical Assistant to join a caring team whose mission is to provide adjudicated youth with access to quality healthcare that positively and restoratively impacts the lives of the youth we serve.
You will enjoy a 4-10 schedule, a picturesque campus, a supportive environment, and the ability to make a difference while growing in your practice.
You will perform duties required to assist health care professionals in the examination and treatment of residents.Click here to learn more about DCYF.The Opportunity:In this job, you will administer medications, prepare the resident environment for treatment, provide immunizations under nursing and physician direction, conduct basic laboratory point of care testing and electrocardiogram tests, provide clinic support, upload medical documents, and clerical reception functions.Some of what you will do:
What we are looking for:
Completion of Medical Assistant course accredited by the American Association of Medical Assistants, or the Committee on Allied Education and Accreditation (CAHEA),
AND
Certification to practice as a Medical Assistant in the State of Washington.

One year of experience providing direct patient care in a health care setting.
