This job involves leading a team of meatcutters in a military commissary in Germany, where you'll assign tasks, check work quality, train others, and handle the physical work of cutting and preparing meat.
It's a hands-on role in a cold environment with safety risks from tools and slippery floors.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Meatcutting Worker leader without more than normal supervision.

Ability To Lead or Supervise Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work requires continuous walking, standing, bending, stooping, carrying, etc.
Incumbent will be required to frequently lift, push and pull pieces of meat and boxed portions weighing approximately 18 kilograms (40 pounds) unassisted and occasionally handle heavier whole, side, or quarter carcasses with assistance from other workers, or utilize materials handling equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Most work is performed in the meat plant which is well lit and temperature is maintained between 28 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Work at times may be performed in colder temperatures.
Work is performed around moving machinery, with risk of cuts and injuries from knives, powered cutting saws, and blades, and work on wet, slippery floors.
Aspects of the work may require working outside as well. Major Duties:
