This virtual internship with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights involves helping create and manage communication materials, such as newsletter articles and social media posts, while learning about public outreach in a government setting.
You'll work closely with the communications team on tasks like researching trends, updating press lists, and tracking engagement.

Responsibilities and desired experience include, but are not limited to, the following:
At the time of internship, the applicant must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Applicants who are working toward a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Writing or Graphic Design are preferred.
