This job involves leading a team of inspectors who handle and check materials, mainly ordnance, at a naval magazine in Washington.
You'll guide daily operations, solve problems, manage staff schedules and training, and ensure safety standards are met.
It's a good fit for someone with hands-on experience in materials handling or inspection who enjoys supervising teams and focusing on safety and efficiency.
You will serve as a MATERIALS HANDLING INSPECTOR SUPERVISOR in the ORDNANCE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVMAG INDIAN ISLAND.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
