This job involves analyzing and managing budgets and programs for naval intelligence, ensuring resources are used effectively and coordinating with other government agencies.
It requires planning studies to evaluate program success and efficiency, as well as communicating findings clearly.
A good fit would be someone with extensive experience in government financial management and strong analytical skills, particularly in defense or intelligence sectors.
You will serve as a Management & Program Analyst at the GG-14 grade level responsible for coordination, liaison, resource management, program analysis, program oversight, and programming functions.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level GS/GG-13. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following such as: 1.
Expert knowledge of budget formulation, programming, and budget execution processes for IC programs, a defense agency, or a military service. 2.
Superior Ability to apply analytic and diagnostic techniques, conduct independent research, and synthesize data to resolve complex budgetary problems. 3.
Exceptional Communication Skills (both oral and written) to produce clear, logical, and concise recommendations. 4.
Deep Understanding of the IC, DoD, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congressional budget processes. 5.
Progressively Responsible Experience in Resource Management or Financial Management within a DoD, IC, or other Government agency.
