A successful candidate in the Management and Program Analyst position will serve as a key analyst responsible for the agency's compliance systems and tools.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: 1) assisting in the modification and testing of compliance or business software systems; 2) analyzing complex data to help develop reports, document processes, and monitor system changes; and 3) identifying and recommending solutions for regular system issues.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience.
Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

As a Management and Program Analyst you will: Work with a team of system users, compliance professionals, other functional program specialists, and IT Specialists in designing, developing, and installing new systems or modifications to existing systems.
Gather, analyze, and document end-user requirements, user issues, and technical problems to develop and propose system enhancements and modifications.
Develop and recommend changes in standards, processes, and controls for new and existing organization governance, risk, and compliance business practices.
Coordinate user-acceptance testing for new business processes or system changes to promote quality implementations of software releases.
Review vendor release notes, test software in a QA system, and approve releases for production. Coordinate and maintain technical documentation for the compliance system.
