The primary purpose of this position, MANAGEMENT ANALYST, NH-0343-02, is to serve as a management analyst performing studies to review and evaluate the efficiency/effectiveness of substantive program operations to include inventory assessment, mobile device asset procurement, forecasting future demand, sustainability, and cost projection.
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NH-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc.).
General experience is described as assisting with analyzing and evaluating quantitative or qualitative effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives; planning the design and methods used to conduct evaluation studies aligned to achieve intended goals of the studies; and researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices for application to programs or operations.

OR EDUCATION: Applicant must have a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts.
OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Applicant must have equivalent combinations of successfully completed qualifying education and experience to meet total experience requirements.
General experience directly related to the work of the position and education in excess of 2 academic years above high school or an Associate's degree may be used to qualify applicants for the NH-2 level.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of Supply Chain Management (SCM), and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation sufficient to perform difficult, but well-precedented assignments.
Knowledge of analysis, evaluation, fact-finding, and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant factors, and recommend a solution from a number of possible alternatives.
Knowledge of the occupation to perform studies and prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate factual and procedural information clearly.
Skill in applying the principles, concepts, and practices of the occupation sufficient to perform moderately difficult assignments.
Skill and ability to learn and apply analytical investigative techniques to accomplish work in the subject-matter field.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
