The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Accelerated Compensation for Development Position Management Analyst under the direct guidance of a Senior or high level specialist, the incumbent performs a variety of Management Analyst duties in the support of assigned programs.
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.
General Experience is described as experience: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions;2) Planning and organizing work; and3) Communicating effectively orally and in writing.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least 1 year of general experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems performing very analytical assignments, using established, occupational principles, methods, and techniques.
Assisting with analytical work assignments by applying conventional practices and procedures. Participating in special projects, initiatives, and studies and support of the organization.
Preparing draft correspondence and documentation, including newsletter, items, responses to routine inquiries, reports, and letters.
NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.
OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.
Knowledge of the overall mission, functions, operations, and organization; and a variety of principles and processes. 2.
Knowledge of analytical, evaluative, and planning process processes, techniques, and methods as applied to issues or studies involving administrative or support functions. 3.
Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and proceedings, applicable to group programs and related support resources or equivalent. 4.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. 5. Ability to communicate, effectively, both orally and in writing. 6. Ability to plan, organize work, and manage Multitasking.
7. Ability to apply lien, safety, security, and health principles, practices, and procedures, and to understand and apply internal management procedures.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.
You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
