This temporary job involves maintaining buildings, grounds, and playgrounds at a military installation in Silver Spring, Maryland, including clearing debris, ensuring safety standards, and driving a passenger vehicle to transport children and youth.
It also requires conducting monthly bus evacuation drills and reporting any hazards to supervisors.
A good fit would be someone reliable with hands-on maintenance experience, a clean driving record, and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions around kids.
This is a temporary position and it is not to exceed September 16, 2026. This position is located at Silver Spring, MD.
Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: CYS Regular and FLEX employees (working a minimum of 15 hours) First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees)} Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
