This job involves maintaining buildings, grounds, and vehicles at a childcare center on a military base, including tasks like clearing debris, repairing furniture, and ensuring safe bus evacuations for children.

This position is located at Fort Knox School Age Services.
Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees working at least 15 hours per week) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees working at least 15 hours per week) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. 2.
Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure the duties described can be accomplished in a safe and satisfactory manner. 3.
Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job. 4.
Requires a valid state driver's license (Requires a valid state driver's license to operate a 15 passenger vehicle OR Requires a commercial drivers license (CDL) with no restrictions to operate a 24 passenger vehicle.) Highly Preferred applicants that meet the below criteria may be sent first for consideration: A skilled tradesman with: Experience in preventative and routine facility maintenance (i.e.: carpentry, painting, furniture repair) Experience in preventative and routine vehicle and small motor equipment.
Experience maintaining landscaping and gardening. Knowledgeable in OSHA compliance. Major Duties:
