Job Description

Summary

This job involves hands-on maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and machinery at a military base, including tasks like painting, plumbing, electrical fixes, and carpentry under supervision.

Full Job Description

This position is located at Fort Meade, Maryland. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job. 4. Requires a valid state driver's license.

  • Performs a variety of trades and crafts duties involving maintenance, repair and improvement of facilities and minor repair, inspection and repair of various equipment.
  • Assists in the disassembly, repair, modification, preventative maintenance, installation, removal and assembly of machinery and equipment.
  • Assists higher level personnel with painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpenter work.
  • Assures safety requirements, housekeeping and environmental compliance rules are followed and personal protective equipment is properly used.
  • May drive a truck weighing up to 2.5 ton or flat bed, to assist in accomplishing the duties associated with this job.
