This job involves hands-on maintenance and repair work on buildings, grounds, and trails in a national forest, including using tools for construction, painting, cleaning, and operating equipment.
It's ideal for someone with practical experience in manual labor who enjoys outdoor work and can handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
No formal education is needed, but reliability and basic technical skills are key.
This position is located within a National Forest.
Incumbent performs various duties to accomplish preventive maintenance, repair, upkeep of building and grounds, and/or participates in trail construction and maintenance.

Selective Placement Factor Incumbent may be required to submit to a pre-employment urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use which requires a negative test result prior to appointment and randomly thereafter.
