About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Landing Zone. This is a Flex position. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have acquired progressively responsible work experience where the applicant is able to apply the knowledge, skills and abilities appropriate to the grade level of the position.
The experience may have been gained in similar or closely related work of the position: for example, experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, etc.
Must be able to follow oral or written instructions, have excellent communication skills and be able to work without constant supervision and work alone.
Must be able to lift and carry supplies, materials, and equipment up to 70 pounds. Requires a valid driver's license.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of materials and equipment eligible to achieve job duties. Must have working knowledge of Services Squadron. Most be able to pass a physical.
This is a designated drug testing position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drugs. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:
Assists management in receiving, issuing and installing of all property obtained within the club system. Maintains club buildings and grounds in inspection condition.
To include mowing, removing grass from cracks in curbs and sidewalks. Trims trees and shrubs. Performs snow/ice removal around facilities.
Performs a variety of tasks in the upkeep of the building, grounds and related structures, fixtures and equipment. Repairs wood items such as panels, drywalls, doors, cabinets, etc.
Follows specific directions and uses standard coasting methods such as brushing, rolling and spraying; coating may be paint, varnish, shellac, etc.
Works on commercial icemakers to include replacing pumps, hot gas valve and water valve hoses, fuses, heaters, and filters.
Performs minor repairs on furniture such as tightening of legs and arms of chairs, replacing various parts of furniture: makes repairs and performs minor maintenance on the facilities such as repair electrical outlet covers, light fixtures; leaky faucets, and doors and locks.
Replaces light bulbs, doorknobs, faucets, flush valves on toilets, etc. Reports all equipment repairs for management and maintains log dates and types of maintenance.
This includes calling off base contractors to repair items that are not within his/her duties.
Make plumbing repairs, such as replacing faucets, washers, unclogging drains and replacing or repairing toilet seats, etc. Operates vehicles and other equipment in the performance of assigned duties.
