Summary

This entry-level job involves helping to organize and digitize old files related to land permits, easements, and leases for Alaska's natural resources department, including scanning documents and auditing them for accuracy.

The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water, is recruiting for a Natural Resource Specialist 1 in Anchorage.


This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:

Join our team at the Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) for an exciting opportunity to be part of the Contract Initiation and Revenue Recovery Section (CIRR) backlog reduction project.

This role offers broad exposure to our division's work and is a great opportunity to grow within the Department of Natural Resources.

You will be involved in scanning, auditing, and archiving various DMLW case files, including permits, easements, and leases, across the three regional land offices, while contributing to the development of our proprietary content management system.

This position is located in Anchorage on the 6th floor of the Robert B. Atwood building. Most work will be performed in the office, interacting with physical case files.
