Full Job Description

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS BRANCH of 12TH MARINE CORPS DISTRICT.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: modifying standard Integrated Logistics System management practices and procedures to solve varied problems related to program requirements for resources, funds, manpower, facilities, telephones, communications and supporting services.

  • You will gather facts, define problems, and explore alternate solutions to facilities requirements concerning the Recruiting Facilities Management Program (RFMP).
  • You will manage the District's General Service Administration leased vehicle program.
  • You will oversee the District's safety program ensuring the Command's Headquarters and all stations comply with established federal standards, Marine Corps Orders, and where applicable, local policies.
  • You will resolve logistical problems reported by subordinate commands.
  • You will adjust budget and logistics plans to address unforeseen developments.
  • You will manage the Command's annual training program.
