Job Duties:

The Logistics Coordinator II coordinates, monitors, and manages various logistical tasks to support the agency’s operations and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.

The Logistics Coordinator collaborates with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and maintain high standards of logistical efficiency.


Serves as the primary point of contact for state fleet vehicles. Maintains all state fleet vehicle information systems, processes, and procedures.

Receives and processes incident reports, analyzes fleet usage data and prepares reports for management, and assists with the fuel card program.

Ensures data is received monthly and entered into the vehicle billing system in a timely manner.


  • Serves as the primary coordinator for work stations and coordinates service deliveries for all DSS office locations. Assists with managing repair activities and deployment of services. Assists with OpsHub related correspondence and work requests for the agency.

  • Assists with monitoring and supporting security systems by coordinating installation, tracking progress, documenting issues, maintaining equipment records, and ensuring compliance with internal security protocols.

  • Maintains accurate databases for all contact information related to State/County operations, landlords, and vendors.

  • Assists the Operations Coordinator in the maintenance and management of the agency records retention program.


  • Assists with preparation and processing of invoices related to the Internal Operations department.

  • Serves as back-up to Administrative Specialist and Postal Director as needed and performs special assignments and other related job duties as required.

  • Perform emergency disaster management services to include but not limited to Red Cross sheltering and performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

A High School Diploma and eight (8) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.

An Associate Degree and six (6) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.

A Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services
