Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This part-time job involves helping veterinarians at Pocono Downs Racetrack by monitoring horses, collecting urine and blood samples for testing, and keeping records to ensure horse racing rules are followed.
You'll also handle basic farm tasks like cleaning stalls and bedding areas.
It's a great fit for someone with hands-on farm experience who enjoys working with horses and wants to contribute to the racing industry in a structured, temporary role.

As a Livestock Worker 1, you will be responsible for closely monitoring assigned horses, collecting urine and blood samples for testing, packaging samples according to procedures, and accurately completing all required records and documentation.
You will also assist with any other necessary farm activities to include maintaining a clean work area and bedding the stalls.
