The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections is seeking a motivated and dependable Licensed Psychologist Manager to lead our team at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Frackville.
By guiding our psychology program, you will help us provide mental health services to inmates while they are incarcerated.

In this position, you will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the psychological services program for SCI Frackville.
Your work will involve coordinating the psychological services program in the institution with other disciplines, as well as developing and writing new policies and procedures for existing programs.
This will include consulting with psychiatry and medical staff and performing psychological testing and evaluation of inmates.
Your duties will also include performing individual and group counseling, managing a counseling program for adjustment to daily living, and participating in research projects.
Additionally, you will serve as Chairman for a variety of teams and committees, including the population Psychiatric Review Team, and participate as a member of the Clinical review Team for suicides and attempted suicides.

You must be in possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board.
Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
