In addition to the basic qualification requirements above: Specialized Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Service.

For this position, specialized experience is defined as demonstrated experience administering library-specific IT systems and technology and their application.

As the Library Technology and Systems Architect, you will: Establish and maintain library systems, integrations, networks and connections to external resources.

Lead library technology projects and coordinates these with other Gallery projects and institution-wide systems. Perform in-depth configuration and troubleshooting.

Coordinate with appropriate teams to align library platforms with enterprise authentication (ADFS/SAML), the digital asset management system (EDAMS), digital object identifier registration and management, data lake and reporting dashboards (PowerBI).

Maintain consistent and secure access to library resources, assets and records in accordance with institutional policy and best practices.

Coordinate with enterprise/institutional IT partners to maintain alignment with institutional standards and emerging technologies.

Execute and document advanced system configuration, API integrations, SQL queries and scripting tasks to ensure interoperability, performance and security.

Take a leading role in the development of future library technologies, systems and services. Develop long-range plans for library systems and data infrastructure.
