Do you pay great attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet urgent deadlines? The Department of Human Services' Office of General Counsel is seeking a Legal Office Administrator to work in a fast-paced professional legal office.

Requirements

This position serves as the Office Manager for the Department of Human Services’ Pittsburgh regional office.

This position performs advanced specialized administrative and professional legal work and provides assistance to counsel with preparing and processing all aspects of varied litigation and non-litigation matters.

Work primarily involves office management, legal research, document preparation, and the reviewing and filing of documents.

The position handles a variety of tasks and pays close attention to detail and deadlines in a professional office environment.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days a week, after a period of time that will be determined by the position supervisor (not to exceed 6 months).

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
