This job involves leading a team of legal assistants in a busy government office, handling tasks like assigning work, training staff, reviewing documents, and supporting attorneys with administrative needs.

In this vital role, you will supervise a team of Legal Assistant 1 and Legal Assistant 2 (LA) staff regarding the approval of timesheets, leave requests, and all other administrative needs.
This position performs the full range of supervisory duties including enforcement of all office, agency, and Commonwealth rules, policies and procedures, maintaining LA staff position descriptions and performance standards and conducting employee performance evaluations and progress reviews as required.
You will have the opportunity to directly assist attorneys, Senior attorneys, and Deputy Chief Counsel attorneys to complete a wide variety of assignments, special projects, and other administrative needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
