Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

The Human Services Department is seeking a driven, customer-oriented, and experienced Leaves and ADA specialist to join our collaborative and innovative Human Resources Division as a Sr.
HRBP - Leave & ADA Specialist.
This role would be dedicated to advancing the missions of the City of Seattle and the Human Services Department by providing timely and accurate leave and/or ADA information and support to staff when they need to call upon programs designed to support them during the most unique and/or difficult times of their employment.
The Senior Human Resources Business Partner over Leaves and Accommodations independently manages: 1) department-wide leave administration; 2) temporary and permanent work accommodations; 3) workers' compensation; and 4) the department's safety programs for the Central Building, Renton office, Seattle Municipal Tower (SMT), and field staff.
This position also completes other Human Resources work and special projects as assigned. As such, this position handles matters that are highly sensitive and private to our employees.
Excellent customer service skills and having an inherent ability to maintain confidential information are key.
Individuals performing this body of work must also have an innate ability to communicate and implement rules and processes in a compassionate manner.
