Job Description
This position reports to the Workforce Development Division in Columbia and serves as a subject matter expert and team lead responsible for workforce data analysis and federal performance submission. The role includes analysis of case management and labor exchange system reports, staff mentorship, and serving as a liaison between the team and senior management.

Key Responsibilities
The Lead Workforce Reporting Analyst will:
• Lead Federal performance reporting to the US Department of Labor (USDOL) for Adult, Dislocated Worker, Youth, Wagner-Peyser (WP), Jobs for Veterans State Grants (JVSG), Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA), and National Dislocated Worker Grants (NDWG).
• Lead the analysis of workforce program data to support effective program oversight and operations at the state and local level, resulting in positive performance outcomes.
• Research law, regulations, and other guidance to assure reporting is in accordance with program requirements. Work with internal and external partners in development of guidance regarding reporting activities.
• With supervisory approval, communicate with the vendor regarding reporting problems, desired enhancements, or system changes via the appropriate channels. Participate in weekly vendor conference calls.
• Monitor and provide support to internal and external users via the Service Desk.

Requirements

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or at least three years of related work experience. Must have at least one year experience in collecting, analyzing, and communicating data. Must be able to read, research, understand, and communicate the federal reporting requirements for several workforce programs. Must have experience with SQL. Additionally, this position must have adequate experience and understanding to provide valid analysis and communication of information to state and local stakeholders.
