Full Job Description

This position is located at Defense Finance and Accounting Service- Texarkana. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Work experience should include the following skills, knowledge and abilities: Must have knowledge of working with a calculator and personal computer.

Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently. Must have the ability and skill to communicate orally and in writing. Experience must be clearly reflected on resume to receive credit.

Major Duties:

  • Distributes and balances workload, assures timely accomplishment of assigned work, and keeps in touch with the status and progress of work on a daily basis.
  • Obtains assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise and maintains records of work accomplishments.
  • Resolves simple, informal complaints of employees and refers others to supervisor. Instructs employees on tasks and job requirements, develops written instructions as necessary, and answers questions regarding procedures, policies, and directives.
  • Reviews, amends, or rejects the work not meeting established standards.
  • Provides specialized training to employees in problem areas as needed or requested.
