This job involves leading a team that handles emergency calls for police, fire, and medical situations in a Navy installation, using radios and computer systems to quickly dispatch help and coordinate responses.

The position is based in San Diego and requires at least a year of relevant experience.
You will serve as a LEAD REGIONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE DISPATCHER (OA) iof COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Operating various systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System, radio equipment, radio and talk group systems, Enhanced 911 telephone systems and fire and security alarm systems to respond/communicate to law enforcement, fire, medical, hazmat emergencies; 2) Processing multiple requests (e.g., communicating with emergency caller while communicating with police or fire dispatch) for emergency services simultaneously; 3) Coordinating emergency responses in accordance with inter-agency procedures and installation organizations; and 4) Making workload adjustments to improve services rendered as incidents/emergencies occur.
