This job involves leading and supporting sports and recreation activities at a military base, such as organizing games, handling customer service, and training staff for events like softball and basketball.

This position is located at Fort Riley Intramural Sports. The Intramural Sports Program offers broad-based team and individual sports based on Soldier interest and unit mission requirements.
Intramural leagues emphasize sports that promote group participation with a wide appeal; such as softball, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and soccer.
This is an Intermittent (flexible) position with scheduled hours between 0-39 hours per week. Resumes must be two pages (or less).
Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience, which involves dealing with general public.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified".
Highly preferred candidates will be referred to management first.
Highly preferred is defined as possessing: Prior DFMWR experience in Intramural Sports or knowledge of Intramural Sports in a Community Recreation or Sports Program.
AND Knowledge of Recreational Programming.
