Base salary range: $104,604 - $135,987

This position is located in the WHS Human Resources Directorate.
The employee leads other Specialists in delivering research, analysis, evaluation, and development of highly complex and critical Human Resource Development functions.
In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below.
You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to: Conduct complex and high priority special assignments, involving extensive research and fact-finding to develop position and issue papers on a wide range of Human Resources Development subjects of extreme importance to the Chief, Human Resources Officer and Chief Learning Officer.; AND Develop processes for defining strategic objectives and integrate them in the program reviews.; AND Develop and design training curriculum in support of coach training inititiatives.;AND Establish and monitor success metrics for both individual coaching engagements and overall program effectivenes, using feedback, outcomes and data to inform enhancements.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Communicate assignments, organizations strategic plan, mission, vision and values to the team, coach team members, and identify, balance, and distribute workload.
Monitor and report status and progress of work. Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplishments.
Identify training needs and train team members; approve emergency leave for up to three days and eight hours or less for medical appointments; and provide input/recommendations on actions such as: performance evaluations, reassignments, and promotions.
Coordinate problem issues with the supervisor and provide recommendations for resolution.
