Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading efforts to manage wastewater and water-related environmental programs in a naval facility, ensuring everything follows rules and finding smart ways to handle changes or problems.
It suits experienced engineers who enjoy advising teams, reviewing technical reports, and working with lawyers on environmental issues.

You will serve as a LEAD ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER (WASTEWATER) in the Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) Office of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a Professional Engineer, managing water related environmental programs by developing and implementing policy and advising on recommendations or solutions to modify standard practices or program directives and ensuring compliance with environmental rules and regulations.
