This position is located in the Insurance Fraud Division.

Job Purpose:
Performs legal research and drafting as required of policies, procedures, and other legal documents as directed by attorneys in the Insurance Fraud Division.

Performs legal research and analysis on case law and statutes as assigned and identify implications from legal precedents and other legal information.

Draft and review legal briefs, motions, indictments, and other legal documents

Assist Attorneys or other legal staff with special projects as necessary.

Maintain and update files, databases and other documentation.

Prepare memoranda or other documents, as assigned, for trials, hearings, meetings, or other proceedings.

Maintain the confidentiality of documents and communications with the Insurance Fraud Division

Communicate with various court staff and law enforcement personnel.

Employee will work under the close supervision of attorneys in the Insurance Fraud Division

Requirements

A college degree from an accredited institution and admission to an accredited law school. Completion of at least one year of law school.
