Full Job Description

This position is located at Family and Morale Welfare and Recreation, Fort Sill Golf Course. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Six (6) month of laboring experience required.

Must be able to work under general supervision, responding to initial oral or written instructions and completing assigned tasks. Major Duties:

  • Perform heavy physical labor requiring the frequent lifting and carrying of items and furniture weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more
  • Operate heavy powered equipment performing tasks that require prior work experience and training.
  • Breaks up concrete, mixes and pours concrete and asphalt. Resets nails, replaces hardware, relocate playgrounds, flowerbeds and portable structures.
  • Advises facility director of potential safety hazards and identifies repairs required.
  • Skill in performing routine operator maintenance and adjusting the cutting height of blades of power mowers or in operating weight handling devises when moving heavy loads.
