A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Three (3) months of laboring experience required. 2. Must have the ability to use, control, and clean tools and power equipment used. 3.

Have the ability to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps without constant supervisor of each task assigned Major Duties:

  • Mows grass, lays sod. weeds flowerbeds, trims and edges walkways and lawns.
  • Prunes shrubs and trees; applies fertilizer, waters plants, cleans out drainage ditches, shovels snow from walks and driveways.
  • Digs, fills and tamps soil and gravel in earth excavations; levels ground using pock, shovel, tamper and rake.
  • Adjusts, cleans, oils and changes attachments on machines.
  • Maintains stock of cleaning materials and implements used; and notifies supervisor when additional materials are needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
