About the position: This is a Temporary Flexible position (part-time) located, not to exceed 21 November 2026 at the Eaglewood Golf Course on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Langley location.

This position may be subject to nights, days, weekends, Holidays, and on-call work.

This position does not have any guaranteed hours however, the employee may be scheduled between 0 to 40 hours per week. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: No previous experience or training is required. Must possess a valid state driver's license appropriate for the size and type of vehicle operated.

Must be able to use, control, and clean common hand tools, and simple power equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions.

Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry medium to heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and be able to occasionally lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to actively bend, stoop) stand, reach, and work in awkward positions. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.

Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Major Duties:

Maintains ball washers, replaces tee towels, and flags when needed, removes debris, empty garbage containers, and cleans flowerbeds.

Assists in the maintenance of course grounds and facilities using simple powered equipment such as clippers, string trimmers, low- pressure sprayers, power blowers, powered pavement vacuums, and wet vacuums or steam cleaners.

Rakes and maintains sand bunkers, sets tee markers and cups on greens daily, maintains ball washers removes debris.

Loads, unloads, moves, and stacks bulky items from trucks and other conveyances using hand trucks or dollies.

Runs hand lawnmowers or (domestic type) powered lawn mowers, when this does not require heavy physical effort (for example, on steep grades); clears small trees and bushes, using handsaw, hatchet, or clipper.

Digs ditches, holes where grading and sloping is not required, fill holes with dirt and level bumps using shovels, hand tampers, and rakes. Digs holes for plants, irrigation system, and tee boxes.
