Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping people with disabilities find and keep jobs by providing on-site training, guidance, and support under a counselor's direction.
You'll assist clients in developing job skills, connect them with community resources, and track their progress through notes and assessments.
It's a good fit for someone patient and organized who enjoys working directly with people in various settings and is willing to travel and adapt to flexible hours.

A bachelor’s degree in a related field. Or; a high school diploma and experience in career counseling or related case management may substitute for the required bachelor’s degree.
Must be able to communicate effectively.Must be able to travel throughout the day to assist consumers while at work.Must be able to work in various work environments and on a flex schedule to meet consumers needs.Knowledge and skill in conducting needs assessments.Knowledge of fact gathering methods and interviewing techniques.
Knowledge of community resources.Knowledge of principles of behavior adjustment techniques.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals, families, etc.If invited to interview, please obtain your Official 10 year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles to bring with you.
Official transcripts will be required to verify college degree. Qualifications One year with SCVRD preferred.
