Legal Authorization to Work Requirement:

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.


No training and experience required.

Driver's License: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.

Physical Ability: Some positions may require lifting and carrying objects of varying weights without assistance or with the assistance of another person and/or the use of equipment (e.g., hoisting equipment, hand truck, etc.) for heavier loads, with or without reasonable accommodation.
