Full Job Description

This is a non-merit, temporary position. Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprise.

The hourly wage is $20.00/hour.

The Iowa Veterans Home is one of the largest employers in central Iowa with over 800 employees who provide specialized long-term nursing and residential care to nearly 400 veterans and their spouses. We honor those who served America by providing comprehensive, complex and compassionate care in a personalized home-like setting. The Iowa Veterans Home has an opportunity working with Information Technology.

Applicant will gain experience by assisting residents with desktop support, hardware deployment, software support, data collection and other IT related duties. In coordination with staff supervisor, applicant must be available 10-15 hours per week with core hours established by supervisor.
