Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position.

To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement.

Creditable specialized experience includes: Develops and implements approved plans, objectives, policies, procedures, and guidance required to ensure the Agency's websites are in compliance with those of DoD and DLA.

Establishing criteria, formulating projects, and investigating and analyzing a variety of IT program issues.

Reviews code, tests, debugs and runs the computer software developed in response to user requests.

Incumbent must often oversee modifications to the code based on additional user requirements and must also be aware of alternative approaches to problem resolution Designs, develops, and modifies applications software using ASP.NET utilizing C#.

Analyzes and refines system requirements Designs and plans systems architecture.

Problem Solving- Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations B.

  • This position is responsible for conceptual development and improvement of Web based logistics information dissemination systems as well as evaluation of existing DoD logistics information dissemination systems and procedures.
  • Conducts periodic process/product quality assurance assessments/reviews in accordance with the DLA policy and the Internet and Web Development Oversight in order to ensure that all web sites are in compliance.
  • Incumbent operates as an independent developer of web architectures, databases, and systems applications.
  • requirements analysis, planning, organizing, directing coordinating projects to accomplish the work, coordinating efforts with outside agencies, and evaluating technical developments.
