This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command, Transportation Command.
The incumbent will be responsible for plans and carrying out assignments independently; conceives and defines solutions to highly complex problems; analyzes, interprets, and reports findings of projects; and guides technical and programmatic work of team members in comparable junior grades.
You may qualify at the NH 3 , if you fulfill the following qualifications: A.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-2 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service as listed below: Reviews, analyzes, and recommends emerging technologies to meet mission objectives Drafts, develops, and implements plans and procedures based on data-driven metrics Migrating to and operating / managing applications in a cloud environment Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Facilitates, coordinates, and integrates the development and evolution of the Command's Cyber Strategy and Architecture that promote interoperability and supportability.
Devises technical strategies, procedures, evaluation criteria, and policies to synchronize and align infrastructure and security related architecture activities.
Provides technical guidance and evaluates milestones for feasibility, technical integration, and interoperability of systems and subsystems.
Ensures cloud-sourced information security products and services are delivered to the government to meet or exceed statutory and regulatory require.
