Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

This job involves leading IT projects and programs for the Navy, focusing on developing systems, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring everything meets technical and strategic goals.
You'll work with teams and external partners to solve complex tech problems and improve processes in a military IT environment.

You will serve as a IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN) in the DEPARTMENT HEAD ES (01D00) of NIWC ATLANTIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NO-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following; .leading Project Management for program/system development and technology research, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance goals AND Significant experience in engineering project management and strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
In Addition: I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1.
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: PASTE PROFICIENCY LEVELS HERE.
Leading the development, implementation, and enforcement of IT policies, standards, and procedures. 2.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Providing technical expertise to leadership personnel. 3.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of C4I systems and supporting IT infrastructure.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Leading continuous process improvement initiatives.
