Full Job Description
Performs the analysis, design, testing, and implementation of computer systems. Intermediate level role responsible for systems analysis, design, and performance to meet business user needs.
Duties:- Working in conjunction with functional and information technology leads, elicit, analyze, validate, document and manage business, functional, nonfunctional, and transition requirements through the lifecycle of the project.
- Provides input for recommendations for development or enhancements of eProcurement systems.
- Analyzes business users’ needs to assess technical feasibility and recommend solution. Interview Business Subject Matter (SMEs) experts to understand current business processes.
- Define and document future business processes, translates requirements into functional business design specifications.
- Support eProcurement team with gathering and analyzing data for eProcurement system. Participate with executing eProcurement team with gathering and analyzing data for eProcurement system.
- Participate with executing eProcurement tasks, assists with training and updating system documentation. Create, maintain, and ensures data integrity and data governance for eProcurement system.
- Provide support to external and internal end users to resolve system issues with data. Develops business requirement documentation (designs, specification, processes, workflows) and communication.
- Facilitate focus groups and requirement workshops, assists in creating and executing processes and procedures that ensure that all systems, products, and services meet agency standards and end-user requirement.
- Assist with writing test plans and test scenarios, will be responsible to assist with leading test execution, documentation of defects, and reporting testing results.
- Serves as a basic subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures. Prepares visual documentation for processes and requirements such as flow chart and process diagrams to illustrate processes interfaces, integrations, and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between functional business areas and IT to communicate functional requirements to technical team to provide solution for business problems. Perform simulations or recreations of user problems to resolve operating difficulties and identify problems at a moderately complex level.
- Participate with system development life cycle to include planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, maintaining, and supporting software.
- Advises on quality assurance processes to ensure business rules, business processes, and data integrity are enforced in the eProcurement system.
Requirements
A high school diploma and experience in computer system development and modification. A bachelor's degree in a related area may substitute for the required work experience.
Qualifications
Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA), or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or Certified Analysis Professional (CBBAP).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Business analysis experience waterfall and/or agile project. Ability to understand and carry out moderately complex technical instructions and requests. Ability to analyze conceptual and logical data models. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work effectively with users, suppliers, and other IT personnel. Ability to assist with identifying and resolving problems. Ability to assist with planning, directing, instructing, and reviewing the work of technical personnel. Ability to assist with providing status report and other technical reports in a clear and concise manner.
